I started playing around with iMovie on my iPad. This is my third trailer. I am enjoying how easy it is to make a fun little movie of an adventure that we went on. This is from a hike that we took in early March a few days before the lockdown began.
An evening walk on Mary’s River
Last night we went for a walk at Mary‘s River Park in Philomath. It was a beautiful evening and the kids really enjoyed getting out to play.
Silver Falls Oregon Hike
James, Daniel and I went to Aumsville and picked up Emma. We wanted to go for a hike at Silver Falls. It is an amazing hike through a rain forest with beautiful waterfalls. I took my GoPro and made a video.
My Birthday Camera
I bought a GoPro for my 49th Birthday. I wanted to do a sunset time lapse. This is my first one. I like how it turned out. Now I want to tweak the settings and try it again.
A flower tour of our yard
Here in Oregon we have a beautiful yard and this month all sorts of beautiful flowers started blooming. This is a video tour on March 3rd that I took to show off all the flowers in the yard.
Merry Christmas 2019
It was a wonderful Christmas morning. (I liked that the children let me sleep until 5:00, they had been up for two hours already)
Making “Gingerbread houses”
One of our Christmas traditions is making gingerbread houses. For the last couple of years we have done it with graham crackers. It is a lot less work and still just as much fun. Here are some pictures from this year.
A funny thing happened on the way to the airport
We were taking Lynn and Alyxibeth to the airport. They are going to Los Angeles for surgery on her foot.
The kids wanted to see if our favorite tree lot was up, and it was. So we stopped and bought a tree as we were heading to the airport. Luckily they said we could come back after we dropped Lynn and Alyxibeth off at the airport.
Moonset
As I was outside I enjoying a beautiful sun rise I turned around and saw this:
Being so cute
These three came and stood by the van they were so cute I had to take a picture. Klaus just got a hair cut.
Today is Alyxibeth’s birthday. She is seven today. We will celebrate her birthday tomorrow because Emalie is flying home from Utah.
We are all sad with the passing of Grandma James last night. It was a surprise to us all.
