Back when we were doing seminars we would talk about the importance of food. To share the idea we would share this video from the Red Green Show. The skit we would share starts at 13 minues and 30 seconds into the video.
Papa loved the Red Green show. If you have never watched it I highly suggest it. It pokes fun at men and manhood. “I am a man, I can change, if I have to, I guess.
We had several of our chickens killed. I decided to get a wildlife camera just to see what might have taken our chickens. I set the camera up in a few different places and only got kids and cats. Then I put the camera in one of the groves of trees. I got squirrels, deer and these guys.
I just watched a video online and it really hit me on how to find happiness in this life. In the video Calyann referred to a scripture:
and he inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile.
Book of Mormon: 2 Nephi 26:33
Calyann said pointed out that no matter what you do or who you are God (Heavenly Father) will always love you and always be there for you.
Alyxibeth was jumping on the trampoline and John came from behind and “stole her bounce.” Alyxibeth collapsed and said she heard a snap in her leg. We went out to the and she was cradling her leg. Amie called Jacob and he came over and put a splint on her leg. We took her to the ER the next morning for X-rays and a splint. We have an appointment on Monday for her cast.
I started playing around with iMovie on my iPad. This is my third trailer. I am enjoying how easy it is to make a fun little movie of an adventure that we went on. This is from a hike that we took in early March a few days before the lockdown began.
One of our Christmas traditions is making gingerbread houses. For the last couple of years we have done it with graham crackers. It is a lot less work and still just as much fun. Here are some pictures from this year.
We were taking Lynn and Alyxibeth to the airport. They are going to Los Angeles for surgery on her foot.
The kids wanted to see if our favorite tree lot was up, and it was. So we stopped and bought a tree as we were heading to the airport. Luckily they said we could come back after we dropped Lynn and Alyxibeth off at the airport.
