It was a wonderful Christmas morning. (I liked that the children let me sleep until 5:00, they had been up for two hours already)
One of our Christmas traditions is making gingerbread houses. For the last couple of years we have done it with graham crackers. It is a lot less work and still just as much fun. Here are some pictures from this year.
We were taking Lynn and Alyxibeth to the airport. They are going to Los Angeles for surgery on her foot.
The kids wanted to see if our favorite tree lot was up, and it was. So we stopped and bought a tree as we were heading to the airport. Luckily they said we could come back after we dropped Lynn and Alyxibeth off at the airport.
As I was outside I enjoying a beautiful sun rise I turned around and saw this:
These three came and stood by the van they were so cute I had to take a picture. Klaus just got a hair cut.
Today is Alyxibeth’s birthday. She is seven today. We will celebrate her birthday tomorrow because Emalie is flying home from Utah.
We are all sad with the passing of Grandma James last night. It was a surprise to us all.
So after all the kids had turns on Grandma Jo’s four wheeler they wanted me to have a go at it. I wasn’t sure I wanted to, but then had the thought “why not, do something fun every once in a while.” So I hopped on. Just then I felt Lynn wrap her arms around me. Man I should have gotten on earlier! That makes me want a four wheeler if Lynn is going to ride behind me like that.
This is a picture that I took while in Oregon. We had such a good time spending time with Lynn’s family.
Emalie came home and reported on her mission. We took a few pictures at the church.
Today is Klaus’ second birthday. Grandma and I left WordCamp ABQ 2018 early so we could have a birthday party at Explora! Our family was there along with Auntie Jessica and Uncle Scott and Auntie Dorothy.
